Seth Martinez


Mr. Martinez has worked in education for eighteen years.  His current role as the Principal of San Juan College High School continues to fuel his commitment to develop young leaders, support teachers, and help students continue to advance a love of learning!   

Robbie Mason


Mr. Mason teaches New Mexico State History, Economics, Government, and Health. He will also be running a climbing club. He has an affinity for the outdoors and a true passion for building strong relationships with students to support them in their academic endeavors.

Shelly McDaniel


Mrs. McDaniel is one of our gifted case managers at SJCHS. She teaches three sections of the dual credit FYEX class and is a National Honor Society sponsor. 

JK Melton


JK Melton teaches World History, US History, and ELA 11 & 12. He earned a B.A. in Classics and Philosophy and a teaching certification from CU Boulder, and a Ph.D. in Theology from Fordham University. He has 15 years of teaching experience.

Kelly Nichols


Kelly comes to us with an enthusiasm and love for teaching English as well as sponsoring an Outdoor Pursuits club designed to feed the souls of the adventure-seekers at SJCHS. 

Carrie Rogers


Mrs. Rogers teaches US and World History and sponsors National History Day. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Master of Arts in Secondary Education, both from UNM. Her teaching experience includes twelve years of middle school and six years of high school.

David Rogers


Mr. Rogers is the physics instructor and coach for Science Olympiad. He holds Bachelors of Science degrees in biology and civil engineering from UNM. Having worked as a civil engineer for many years, he brings his passion for science and mathematics into his classroom.
