First Day of School

Classes begin Monday, August 15 at 8:30 a.m. Parents will be notified of bus schedules as they are released by each school district. If you have any questions, please contact the SJCHS School Office.

Student ID and Accuplacer

All SJCHS Students must obtain a San Juan College ID by May 31st. To obtain an ID, go to Enrollment Services located in the clock tower building. NOTE: Your first ID card is free. Replacement cards are $5.00. All SJCHS students must complete the Accuplacer by June 4th. The Accuplacer tests English, Math, and Reading. To schedule an exam appointment and complete the preregistration at the main campus in Farmington, go to the Testing Center webpage and follow the prompts. Students can also test in Aztec at SJC East or in Kirtland at SJC West. Please call SJC East at 566-4151 or SJC West at 566-3598 to schedule an appointment in Aztec or Kirtland.

San Juan College High School (SJCHS) is a free, public high school on the campus of San Juan College. Operating as a Farmington Municipal Schools public school, SJCHS will serve students who reside in Aztec, Bloomfield, Central Consolidated and Farmington School Districts. SJCHS will open Fall 2016 with an initial cohort of 80 freshmen students. Upon completion of the four year program, students will graduate with a New Mexico High School Diploma of Excellence as well as an associate degree or up to 60 credit hours from San Juan College. Interested 8th grade students, who are seeking a nontraditional high school experience, are encouraged to apply.
